#JobAlert: Social Media Managers wanted for internship

Casual Entertainment TV has continued to fulfil promises of job creation and capacity development while also producing top notch content to entertain readers and viewers.
Cetvng is an online media (Blog and TV) house with head office in Akure, the ondo state capital.
We are looking to employ the services of social media interns who will be trained for between three to six (3-6) months and an option to be fully employed at the end of their internship program with us (this depends of their performance on the job). 
NOTE: this is an online internship program, all selected candidates will be added to a whatsapp group where Lecture notes will be delivered in form of a webinar and questions answered…

Are you versed in the ways of the social media universe? Do you have accounts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest and every other site known to man? If so, log in to a new career as a social media manager.
Social media managers are the voice of companies on social and digital media sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Four Square, Instagram, etc. Ever liked a company on Facebook? That accountis managed by a social media manager.
Typically, a social media manager might create and maintain new marketing campaigns, brand promotions or product lines for their company on different sites, monitor progress using web analytic tools, and answer directly to social media inquiries, all while using the company’s voice and guidelines.
 A social media manager is continuously generating content for the company, creating new ideas and campaigns, and measuring how effective those ideas are. They work with other creatives in the company, like marketing, public relations, legal, etc. to coordinate their campaigns with other initiatives within a company work to fit in to the overall marketing and promotional goals of theorganization.
A good social media manager always looks for the latest trends online, making sure that they arekeeping up with public shifts in media attention.
Normally, you will need a bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, computer science or similar. You will also need demonstrated experience in social and digital media, which includes being able to measure social media presence.
For the purpose of this internship, no experience or certificate is needed, but PASSION is of utmost importance.
Writing: Social media managers will need to know how to write effective copy in a lot of different styles, for websites, twitter, Facebook, etc. Knowledge of writing for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is also needed (this will be learned during the internship).
Research: Social media managers need to know what is happening in the fast changing world of social and digital media, what competitors are doing and what new measurement tools are being used. (also, this will be learned during the internship).
Problem-Solving: Social media managers figure out how to best communicate a company’s message on different platforms, and sometimes might need to convey sensitive issues or deal with angry customers.
Organization: There are many different platforms, and new ones are being developed all the time. How you communicate on each, determining audience, and measuring tactics all take organization.
Interpersonal Skills: Even through writing, social media managers are a direct connection between a company and the public. Being friendly and approachable online will help.
Technical Skills: Social media managers work almost exclusively through computers. Understanding computers, SEO, internet access and being tech savvy is necessary.
